Blue House Vineyard (previously known as Fowl Play Vineyard) sits on less than an acre at Blue House in Scotts Valley. The vineyard sits just within the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA and is just down the road from the old Alfred Hitchcock estate. This three decades old vineyard is 100% dry farmed and 100% Merlot. It is owned by indelible Brooke Lipman and managed by Ken Swegles, Coastal Range Vineyard.
Straddling the Summit and Soquel Hills at 1,500 ft in the Santa Cruz Mountains, cultivated fruit from DaLarDi Vineyard embodies similar characteristics to the popular Split Rail Vineyard of the same appellation. With vines planted in 2013, a youthful DaLarDi sits above the coastal fog belt, along with oak and madrone that line the vineyard. This location was selected because its terroir produces classic Santa Cruz Mountain Pinot Noir fruit.
We are honored to use fruit from this celebrated family vineyard in Corralitos. Sitting between 400 and 500 feet elevation on Pleasant Valley Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains, fruit from this vineyard is a delight. Influenced by morning fog, temperatures rise during the day, providing excellent conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit.
Planted in the early 2000s in Corralitos by Salamander Wine Cellars and Robert Weber, both pediatricians. Just three acres of Pinot Noir, this vineyard sits about 500 ft above sea level. Clones include 777, 667 and 115. Was grown as non-organic, however with new manager Ken Swegles at the helm it’s all grown organic for the last three years.
Saveria Vineyard is one of the highest quality vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Planted and managed by Prudy Foxx in the late 90’s, this vineyard sits on Pleasant Valley, neighbors to the equal Lester Family Vineyard. Discover Pinot Noir and Petite Sirah at this low sitting (600ft) vineyard, embraced by morning fog and hot afternoons.
